  The special room in high school for JWs

  i don't know how many of you went through this, but did you have to go to a special classroom with other jws in it for the national anthem?.

  i remember encountering this, and i thought it was weird.

  i remember being told not to be in the classroom, but this was a classroom!

  I suffered like undaunted Danny. Tortured and picked at.

  It would have been super great to have a classroom to go to while they did the national anthem.

  I had to just sit in my seat while everyone stood. .. It was soooo horrible.

  i lost someone very special to me.

  my cat.. she was 12 years old.

  she was the friendliest, most loving, cat i had ever owned.

  Sorry about your cat.

  Really glad you had a great community and that they tried to help your kitty. Inspiring.

  We have a new kitty, only 4 months old and I can't imagine how much crying would ocurr if something happened to him. We are all so attached to him.. and our dog as well.

  Interesting that my dog now thinks he is a cat. LOL

  But my kitten seems to think he's a dog.. hahahah

  the dog wants to eat the cat food and the cat wants to eat the dog food .

  Sad news...

  i had a fantastic holiday in florida with some good friends back in 2000 - 3 couples and a single lass.

  the link below to the news story was the seventh member of our party.. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/nottinghamshire/3539662.stm.

  feels really weird - was looking through some video footage of the holiday to try and get some extra pictures of her, for her best friend.. what could possibly have been going through his mind when he did this ??

  Sad story that parents have to be pulled back in forth between court and J.W.'s

  It's obvious the J.w. community put the pressure on this family and then they changed their minds....

  ...

  I had a friend who was head nurse of the neo-natal unit in Boston Mass, for a number of years.

  she said it always sickened her when parents had made up their minds and then their J.W. family and friends would come in a pressure them to not allow proper medical treatment for the child.

  On some occasions, when things got down to the wire. The parents would go into her office and privately ask her (on the side) to get the courts to please please take their baby and give it the proper medical treatment.. without the J.W's knowledge. They were desparately looking for a way out from the J.W.'s wrath in efforts to save their children.

  Wowsers! neonmadman.. Good for you. That is alot of weight to lose. Hope your health has improved after all that weight loss... You must feel like your sleeping great. with your breathing so much better too. Wow!..for you man.

  Me:.. I sleep very, very, very light. Nobody can blink in another room when I'm sleeping cause it wakes me up. I've had to use earplugs ever since the first baby was born 17 years ago.. Every little ding dong noise bothers me. ..I make a good baby monitor, though. lol

  I sleep better in the summer because the air conditioner in our bedroom drowns out all other noise.

  Going for Job Interview tomorrow at 11:00 AM EST

  hi, gang!

  alot of you were a huge support to me 4 months ago, when i was unfairly fired from my job with the board of education, so i wanted to update you all with good news.. first of all, i've received my hearing date with the state labor board for the 5th of october.

  and second, i've got an interview with a company only 5 minutes from my home for a customer service position for a liturgical publishing company!

  Update after talking to family services.

  i rang family services this afternoon.. the woman i spoke to was very helpful and honest.. firstly i told her i had rung because the person that abused my child had been seen by me pushing a toddler in a pram and by a friend of mine tickling and touching children at the meetings.

  i expressed how fearful i am for the children in the congo.. she wanted the pedos name, my name, my kid's name etc.

  she asked what he did to my kid and when i told her she said he was an abuser..........no kidding!

  I missed this thread completely Bliss and just saw it today.

  Great job on your part. Super job and letting this be known to the proper channels.

  I agree with most of the posters now, there isn't much more that can be done on your part..

  Very encouraging for any an all of us to see the steps that need to be taken if we should encounter a similar circumstance.

  Great job.. and I'm sure also, very stressful too.
